What is the lightest Antivirus with equal performance and updates? everyone says AVG, but is it better than NOD32? NOD32 ran lighter but AVG updates more, is it worth the extra RAM the updating?

avg isn’t that good. go with nod32 or PcCillin I don’t recommend avg as I had it when first got into pc’s and got hit with a bad porn virus right here on yahoo Q&A it did nothing to protect me nor remove it. I had one heck of a time fixing my pc.and I also use spyware doctor along with my pccillin and never get hit any longer. good luck.

The debit was for 2.13 as of right now Bank of America can not tell me what it is, but they are researching it. Has this happened to anyone else?

But the only thing I do on it that requires anything personal is a yahoo account. How important is it to use a antivirus? My mom says 30-60$ is a little expensive and I needed to come on here to check if I should.

find and download a free antivirus such as avg or avast
since you wont be downloading a lot of crap, a free one should be just fine.

I recently had the antivirus live virus. It wouldn’t allow me to run any executable, task manager, anything. Finally I got task manager to open right as my computer turned on(before the virus had loaded). I deleted the *****sysguard files from the task manager and everything appears to be normal. I am now able to run Malwarebytes and Superantispyware. Is there anything else I should do to ensure that my system is clean or am I good.

you can use a program called Revo Uninstaller. It’s a free download that removes programs and all files associated with them. It’ll clear everything out.

Hey thanks for the info but they do send it to my email address but it also comes to my phone and I am not on a plan where this is free so I am charged for each one and I would like for them to only come to my pc.

From your yahoo mail page click Options. One of the choices is to make y mail the default.
