You’re doing it the most difficult way. Reinstall Windows, then reinstall your programs. (If you miss a single file doing it your way you’ll have loads of problems.)

I Hate Windows Vista.. I Want Xp Back… Help?
I’m pretty much illiterate when it comes to computer programming. When it comes to Microsoft Office and the Internet, I’m great.
Anyway, about 10 months ago, I purchased a new Gateway computer that came pre-loaded with the “new and improved” Windows Vista.
I have Windows Vista Home Premium. Do I qualify for that downgrade disk people are talking about?
I feel ripped off. I have all the “enhancements” Vista has turned off, so the computer will run faster, but I know it would be WAY faster on XP. I have 1GB of memory..
& I have XP installed on my desktop, so if I don’t qualify for that downgrade disk, can I use that XP installation disk with my laptop [Vista]?
If I want to go back to Vista later, can I?
How Do I Find Drivers For Xp On A Vista Computer?
I recently purchased a toshiba A135-S4407. This pc has vista already installed and i am going to install xp, but i know that i need the drivers before i install the old os. The toshiba site only has drivers for vista and not for xp. I need help to find these drivers, i have tried finding them individually to no avail. Thanks in advance for any advice/help.
