What Is The Best Anti-virus/anti Spyware/firewall Package?
I have a normal home PC that 2 children have access to. We have been getting lots of malicious web sites popping up and currently only have free software (Avira Antivir and SUPER Anti spyware) and the windows firewall. I have heard that AVG is good.
What Are Some Good Firewalls And Anti-spyware Software For Vista?
I’m currently running AVG on my Vista Home Edition for my anti-virus, but I would like to find some decent firewalls and anti-spywares that I can use. I was using Windows Firewall, but I heard it wasn’t as good as others. I’m also using Windows Defender, but I also heard it’s good to have another anti-spyware program along with it. Ad-Aware 2007 doesn’t work with Vista yet, so I need something good. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Even the paid versions are not 100%. The most important thing you can do is not to go on attack sites, open unrecognizable emails, and click on anything that looks too good to be true. Get the WOT add-on for your browser so you know if a site is dangerous before you even go on it. I use Avast free and Windows firewall and I have no problems because I stay away from doing anything stupid.

Why Does Limewire Still Say I Have A Firewall Even When I Turn The Firewalls Off?
My Windows firewall is turned off. I uninstalled Norton because it expired. I use avast for virus protection, but I even tried uninstalling that to see if Limewire would work. Limewire Will Not Connect And Detects Firewall, But All Firewalls Are Turned Off?
I have never had this problem before until I recently downloaded Norton Antivirus. Even when I disable the firewall, limewire still detects a firewall and will not connect to the internet.
