Can You Run Malwarebytes With Another Anti Virus Or Anti Spyware Program Already On Your Computer?

I’m thinking about ditching Windows Defender because I know it sucks, and it came with Norton Internet Security 2008, and I know I have talked bad about Norton, but they have improved greatly from the past, and it doesn’t slow my laptop.
I’ve read and heard so many great reviews about it, so if I have Norton, Super anti spyware, can I run malwarebytes along with them?

Due to a virus I had to format my computer when I installed a new version of windows xp on my computer. The original disk that came with the computer are long gone. I wasn’t able to back the drivers up since the virus wouldn’t allow access to the desktop. Now that I have already formatted the computer and res-installed a new version of Xp is there any way to reinstall drivers? Maybe a program that auto detects what is needed?

How Can I Speed Up A Defragged, scanned Computer With Tons Of Room On The Hard-drive?

October 9, 2009 by admin · 14 Comments

I have a Sony Vaio computer with 2.99 GHZ and .9 GB of Ram. I have:
Defragged it
Scanned it
Checked it for Virus’
Deleted all wasteful files
Cleaned out the Recycle bin
Cleaned up my Start Menu
Cleaned up my Desktop
and I have exactly 2 memory slots of 256MB
and 1 memory slot of 512MB
Now upon checking out the crucial website they say my next enhancement of memory should be to add 1GB to the empty slot. However they also say that I should be matching pairs to get the most out of the computer.
So this would mean either upgrading the empty slot to 512MB or replacing the 512 with 1GB and putting an additional 1GB in the empty to equal it.
All that said, should I do this or is there another way to get better speed? I have Fios now and the speed on the internet is absolutely no better than the DSL was. It’s not that it’s horrible but HEY it should be a LOT faster!
Also the computer is slow offline anyway.
HELP
