I’ve been having problems with the screen size. There’s s black border around the display. It’s hard to explain. I need to install graphics drivers for my friend’s Toshiba Satellite 1805-S207.

Haha I wouldn’t suggest doing them all at once as the Registry cleaner might be deleting something as the defrag is trying to store but definately do them apart. Keeping your registry clean and defragged is important for keeping a fast, working computer as is keeping it virus and malware free.

After running several scans on my PC Dell desktop with AdAware, my PC is fully contaminated with Malware. How can I wipe out my PC clean and start fresh again? So far I’ve come across the “”Dell OS Recovery CD” and the “Driver Reset Tool” which I’ve burned from my hard drive into a CD. I am clueless as to how to get this started. Can anyone provide a step by step on how to get this started?

Hi,Ok I have Norton Anti Virus,and always like it,however for some reason EVERY TIME we get Comcast Internet it “clashes” with my Norton,meaning I have to keep disabling the Norton to get online(NOT GOOD I KNOW).
At any rate,that would be issue one,but what I’m mainly here to ask is this…..are there any SAFE,FREE SITES that offer some type of PC cleaner,as in finding/removing ALL adware/spyware/viruses/anything slowing down my PC?????
The Norton is catching things,but NOT all of it,I can totally tell b/c my PC is making “clicking sounds” and it is running SOOOO SLOW too.
I’ve heard of some site on TV that claims to do a sort of “super clean” on your PC,but I don’t know who to trust,they could be putting stuff ON my PC in the process.
Any advice??? Please go easy on me with any wording/directions,I’m not really PC apt LOL,THANK YOU:-)

Adaware
AVG Antivirus
Ditch Norton and download those three programs and you should be good to go. (And yes, they’re all three safe and free)

Here is Microsoft’s page for security providers:

You will only need antivirus in Windows, at the moment. If you run in Parallels, you will still need antivirus. I would recommend something like Kaspersky or Trend Micro. They’re really good, efficient, and they are extremely accurate. They also catch many types of viruses that most programs like Norton will just “leave behind.”
Microsoft Security Essentials is also a very good one and it is made by Microsoft themselves. If you’re looking for a fully featured security suite that doesn’t cost you a dime (it’s free), MS Security Essentials is for you.

I’ve noticed that if a game system (arcade system or home console) has the same graphics card as a PC, the game system always shows the game better. Why is that? If you played the same game on a PC, you would have to tone down the graphics.

Because the game system usually has a butt-load more RAM, and both the RAM and the processor is devoted entirely to running the game, not a whole bunch of background programs that you may not even ever use.

After using Daemon tools, I was able to access the installation files. But after double-clicking on the setup.exe file, nothing happens, though the process is running in the system. By the way, I am referring to the new NFS Game Pro Street. How can I get the installation work and install the game? Is this related with the cloaking thing?

Run your computer in safe mode and locate the C/Users/yourname/appdata and look in that folder for a randomly named folder with a bunch of numbers and then open it and you should see the .exe file that is also named with a bunch of random number. The easy way to do this is to take out the hard drive, put in another computer, then search for the exe from the other computer since WIndows wouldnt be running from the drive. This also makes it easy if the exe wants to run even in safe mode.
