What if in the future you bought a sims game. You got the right hardware and everything for it; but when you turn it on. The graphics are so real you cannot tell the difference between real life (like seeing something in real life) Would you still play it?
Do you think they should put a limit on how “real” a game can look? Or even simulate? What is your view on this?

Sims wont ever have a game like that, those games arent made for detail. It would be a different game, not nothing gay like the sims. If there was a game with graphics that good, i’d play it, but if it was a good game though. Graphics arent everything

This is a good software. But there are lots of other advanced software’s like Avid, Ulead, Adobe Premier pro etc but since you mentioned user friendly and easy to use you can use either windows movie maker or mac imovie.

The one I currently have is only about 6 months old (The computer itself is about 7 years old, and now too old to continue upgrading). How do I tell how good a graphics card is? By the number in the title, or the dedicated memory. Is there a difference?

There is no one factor but many many different ones.
Things to consider are:
-Bus width
-Type of memory
-Amount of memory
-Memory Speed
-Core clock Speed
-Amount of cores / shader units
-DX version
-Open GL version
And many more . .

Scanners as a rule have to be updated frequently because new viruses are put on the web daily. You can download, Update these scanners and burn them to CD using another PC and then run it on your PC.
