Right now, it seems that it’s not a big deal. But like in a couple years do you think they’ll just start arresting everybody whose illegally downloaded music? Is it even possible to track?

Because there’s no central server or anything that tracks all user activity, it would be virtually impossible to arrest all the people who download music.
They could try to make an example out of some, but that’s it.

By suing the people who download music, they’re not making all the illegal downloading go away.
But if they sue the uploaders and ONLY the uploaders, many’ll stop, most will be too scared to upload, thus less choice of music for downloaders = less downloaders.
I don’t think it makes much sense to sue the downloaders because even if they stop, the files that they downloaded would still be available to anybody who has access to the internet.

Correct, seeding and sending are the same thing. It is a standard in the industry that you should seed for at least 1.5 times your full DL More is better so that you share better and more people get the benefit of your work. I would just be sure to limit the speed of your seeding in the configuration so your computer does not stall out
