Question by delicioussoul: Will they ever make stereos and tv sets with firewalls?
I hear someone talking every now and then while listening to my cd player and watching my television set. The person talking is not part of the cd or program I am watching on tv. I am figuring this person is some sort of unwanted traffic. Does anyone else experience this? Will they ever make stereos and tv sets with firewalls?

Unless your cd player and TV accesses the internet they have no need of a firewall. You probably have a ham radio operator in your neighborhood and he occasionally gets into your cd player or TV. This is not an internet issue. It might be someone with a CB operating at illegally high power. It’s more than likely something called intermod from his radio. Hams will have fairly normal conversations and your hear a call sign every so often, something like K1ABC or the like. A CB’er will usually use all kinds of jargon, “good buddy”, “breaker”, “come back”, things like that. The bottom line, you don’t need a firewall.

Can you burn audio CDs on a DVD (I was out shopping and accidently greabbed dvd-r’s instead of cd-r’s)

You could do it, but then you would need a DVD player to play the music. A regular CD player can’t read DVDs.
