How Do I Change The Texting Mode (from Multimedia To Plain) On Motorola Razr?

My brother has a Motoroloa RAZR on AT&T. Every time he sends a text message, it sends a multimedia message instead of a regular text message. We’ve gone through the phone settings but can’t figure out how to change the default text format to a regular text message instead of multimedia message (but we would need to know how to get it back to multimedia if he wants to send a picture sometime too). Does anyone know how to get it to where you can write a plain text message? Thanks!

My brother disables my whole firewall system through Norton to download some things. Then while the product is downloading, he hops on the internet to “surf the web”. Is having the Norton firewall disabled possibly harmful to my computer? Does it make my computer an easy target for hackers?
