Are There Automated Tools For System Integration If You Can Afford Them ?

System integration would be smoother if it’s automated and humans are not involved except of course to watch preferably 24/7 and understand everything (with the assistance of special tools to help understanding).
(Like a very good chess-playing program [I don't know if such a program is possible] superior to humans – humans could simply watch and follow along)
A system to be integrated needs “factory Cat 0 system tests”.
A machine needs to be able to decide from the “factory cat 0 system tests” what to do next.
Human intervention is only warranted if there is insufficient information from the “factory cat 0 system tests” for automated decison making.
But in that case further integration should cease till proper “factory cat 0 system test” results are obtained.
Failure to use all possible automated tools is a sure sign of a workplace psychopath controlling the project.

  1. DMZ says:

Automatization of system integration is the dream of many managers and programmers that lost their night of sleep and their weekends as well. But usually it is something really hard to achieve due to cost of the project, due dates and other things that can change a project when it is running or before it has begun to be developed.
