Can I Use Peer Guardian With The Firewalls I Already Have?

I have a mcafee firewall and i think i also have a firewall in vista as well but i am not sure can i use peer guardian with this?

    PG should work fine on top of any existing firewall software/hardware you have, as all it’s doing is checking IP’s of incoming/outgoing connections against a list of known IP’s and accordingly blocking or allowing them. Consider it an extra layer of protection.
    EDIT: Whoops, meant to include this the first time; It’s from Pheonix Labs’ own FAQ:
    “Can PeerGuardian replace my firewall?
    No! PeerGuardian has been heavily optimized for what it needs to do and is _not_ a replacement for your firewall.”
    So there you have it :) .
